Maintenance optimisation for the northern class 156 fleets

We are delighted to announce that Northern have chosen TRSE to undertake maintenance optimisation of their Class 156 fleets based at both Allerton and Heaton depots. Our proven process will ensure that Northern will introduce a new exam regime that meets with their operational requirements and delivers improved availability. Our process will also provide a maintenance regime that focuses on improved fleet reliability and reduced visits to their depots for exam work. This announcement follows our successful implementation of maintenance optimisation on their Class 319 fleet earlier this year.

Maintenance Optimisation of ScotRail HST Fleet

Abellio ScotRail are soon to be introducing a refurbished HST fleet on the routes that serve Scotland’s seven cities (Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Perth, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness). We are delighted to announce that ScotRail have chosen TRSE to deliver the new optimised exam regime for this fleet of trains. This award follows on from TRSE successfully delivering optimisation projects on their Class 156, Class 170 & Class 334 fleets.

TRSE gain ISO 9001:2015 Certification

For the past 6 years, T&RS Engineering Ltd have been certified to an ISO 9001 Quality Management Scheme which was supported and facilitated by a third party UKAS accredited organisation. As the business has grown, the Management Systems have evolved and grown to support expansion. A decision was made in May 2016 to totally rebuild the Quality, Business and Safety Management Systems.

Following the development of the new Quality, Business and Safety Management Systems to support our current operation we have been subjected to a rigorous 2 day Management System Audit to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.

The audit was successful and TRSE were recommended for approval by Global Verification Limited (UKAS accredited organisation). The certificate award was for a 3 year period surveillance visits on a yearly basis. A copy of our new certificate can be seen here.

Walking Boots at the Ready!

A team from TRSE will be walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks on Saturday 24th June 2017 in aid of Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice.

Our aim is to conquer the 24 mile trek and three of Yorkshire’s largest peaks including Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent in just 12 hours.

Maintenance Optimisation for the Northern Class 319 Fleets

Northern have chosen TRSE to deliver Maintenance Optimisation on their Class 319 EMU fleet. The maintenance of the fleet, based at the Allerton Depot, Liverpool will be optimised following our proven process to deliver improved fleet availability and reliability. The project will be delivered in two stages, initially on the ‘core’ Class 319 fleet and later in 2017 on the Class 319 ‘FLEX’ units as they are introduced.

Follow on order from KeolisAmey Docklands

KeolisAmey Docklands (KAD), the operator and maintainer of the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), have contracted TRSE to undertake further bogie overhaul optimsation condition assessments. This order is the final piece of work that TRSE has been delivering on behalf of KAD over the past 3 years in an excersice to optimise the bogie overhaul of the DLR B2007 fleet.
